2. We do not take responsibility for late arrival or loss of your package. We will however investigate on your behalf if your package is late.

3. In the event of a delivery failure the Post Office will inform you that your package is awaiting collection at your local depot by leaving a while you were out card. If the package is not collected within 7 days they will return it to us. It is therefore your responsibility to pay for the redelivery of the order if this situation occurs. If Royal Mail fail to leave a while you were out card then a complaint is to be lodged with Royal Mail Customer Services and not with Caradan Designs.

4. It is your responsibility to ensure that the despatch address is correct. Addresses that aren't recognised by Royal Mail upon a delay or lost package query cannot claim compensation.

5. We are not responsible for any import taxes/charges that may apply to orders bound for overseas delivery.

8) Returns:

• All bridal accessories (except earrings) may be returned for a refund if they have been made in the standard sizes, colours and finishes shown below

• If you wish to return goods in the above colours and finish please contact us within 3 days of receipt stating your reasons for the return and we will issue you with an authorisation number and form.

The form is to be completed and the number must be displayed on the outer packaging.

• In any event, you may not cancel, return or receive a refund for:

  Goods that have been custom made to your own colour and finish preferences

  Earrings or jewellery sets containing earrings

  Specially commissioned and bespoke goods

• The goods must be returned in their original perfect condition, unworn, retain all the original display/gift packaging and packaged securely. The display/gift packaging must also be in perfect condition.

• Returned items must be sent Recorded Delivery if the value is below £36.00 or Special Delivery if above.

• The address to return goods to is: 13 Burrows Road, Kingswinford, West Midlands. DY6 8LS.

• Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt. Goods will be deemed your property on the 8th day and will be returned.

• No refund will be given under any circumstances if items are not received before or are returned after the wedding or special event date. It is your responsibility to ensure plenty of time has been given prior to the wedding/special event to allow for postal delay and other unforeseen circumstances.

• It is the customers responsibility to claim compensation from Royal Mail if the item is damaged on it's return journey.

• A full refund of the goods value will be issued within 30 days. Shipping/postage costs borne by you to return the item cannot be refunded.

• To comply with Health and Safety regulations we are unable to accept the return of earrings unless faulty.

• Faulty Goods:  We will replace or repair faulty goods. You must notify us of any fault or damage within 48 hours of receipt and the goods may be returned. We will refund any postage fees that you incur to return the item to us.

• Our decision is final as to whether or not products are deemed unworn and have been returned in their unaltered and perfect re-sellable condition. Products that have been altered in shape by the customer cannot be returned....i.e...moving the wires stems on tiaras and hair jewellery to suit your needs.

• We are not a trying on service. Most designs are handcrafted to order and a lot of time and effort goes into their design and creation. Therefore we will decline any order where we suspect a customer is just trying the designs on with the intention of returning part or all of the order.

• We reserve the right to decline an order if we suspect that a customer is taking advantage of and abusing the returns policy.

9) Product Quality :

1. Colour control of the crystals and beads and other materials used are the responsibility of the manufacturer/supplier and may occasionally differ from what is shown.

2. The photography process may make the products appear larger than in real life. Approximate sizes are displayed on the product page. If in doubt please ask before ordering.

3. As our designs are handcrafted there may be very slight variations to the original image and all sizes stated are approximate.

4. Freshwater pearls are a natural product and colours may vary from one batch to another.

10) Privacy :

We take your privacy very seriously and we comply strictly to the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998. Under no circumstances will your personal information be made available to any third party.

2. The information we have on file will be used for the purpose of processing your order or enquiry and to provide the best possible service only. The type of information we hold includes:

   * Your name * Address * Telephone number * Email address * IP address for customers who have placed a successful order online.

   This information will not be disclosed to any third party unless we are required to do so by law or any other regulatory governing body.

   Credit/debit card details for those who place their order placed by telephone and post are held securely offline and are destroyed once your order has been completed.

   Orders placed online: We adhere to PayPal's privacy policy. The use of the PayPal banking system ensures that the buyer's financial details are not known to us and we will not have access to your credit or debit card details when orders are placed online via the website.

1. Goods sold on this website are not intended to be used as toys. Many of the materials used in the making of the products contain very small parts. Therefore for health and safety reasons, all children must be supervised and not left alone with any products. Caradan Designs will not be held responsible for any injury caused.

2. Caradan Designs does not take responsibility for any tarnishing that may occur. The tarnishing of metal parts is a naturally occurring process with the metal reacting to gases in the air

3. Caradan Designs cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction that our products may cause. If in doubt please ask prior to ordering.

13) Force majeure

1. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure results from events and circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, terrorism, fire, breakdown of plant and machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of our obligations.
